Tips for Using Braided Line

Abu Garcia rods and reels bring newer ideas from an older company. Abu Garcia began by serving the fishermen of Sweden and has incorporated some great Swedish engineering innovations. The signature of the company’s line is “high quality at a reasonable cost.” Abu Garcia rods and reels include many styles and models but the newest Abu Garcia rods are the VENDETTA and the VERITAS. Of course, the larger one makes more vibration and is a little better in cloudy water because of its size.

The Strike King XD Series (which stands for extra-deep) is a very popular bait right now. These deep diving crankbaits come in both a rattling and a silent version depending on your preference. The uniquely curved bill allows the bait to dive deeper and faster. The 6XD dives up to 19 feet and maybe a little more. There is also a 6XD Silent version. Those eye-popping 3D eyes are unusual and add to the interest of the bait. The 5XD has the same features but is designed to target the 15-foot depth.
